V. Stiviano, Donald Sterling News: Lawyer Says Stiviano Assaulted in New York City [VIDEO]

Donald Sterling may not be the only person wishing his racist rant to V. Stiviano never was linked to TMZ Sports.

V. Stiviano caught in a racist rant?

RadarOnline.com is reporting that Stiviano was the target of an assault in New York City on Sunday night.

Her lawyer, Mac Nehoray, confirmed to the website that "two white men descended on" Stiviano as she was leaving the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan's Meatpacking District.

"They were about (5-foot-7), and they knew exactly who she was. They began to hit her and called her the N word," Nehoray told RadarOnline.com. "Other disgusting slurs were made against her. She was able to run away and several onlookers then began attempting to apprehend the two men."

Following the incident, Stiviano went to see a doctor. Radaronline.com's headline said Stiviano was "brutally beaten," but that is not what is described in the report.

Nehoray told RadarOline.com that Stiviano was expected to make a full recovery, although "one side of her face is extremely red and she is obviously very scared (about her well-being)."

Stiviano was in New York to record a segment on "AC360," the CNN news show with Anderson Cooper that attempted to allow Sterling to explain himself last month following the release of his racist audio. Sterling ended up insulting Magic Johnson, accusing Stiviano of being racist and making himself look mentally unstable.

On Saturday, a 3-year-old video of Stiviano when she was a cast member of a reality TV show pilot about gold-diggers surfaced, also on TMZ. On the recording, Stiviano made racist comments toward black people, as well as lewd comments in reference for her looking for a wealthy boyfriend.

It was a conversation between Sterling, the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, and Stiviano that was leaked in May that led to the Sterling's banishment from the league and ultimately the sale of the Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for $2 billion.
