Serena Williams isn't exactly sitting home moping about her stunning second-round loss to Garbine Muguruza at the French Open.

Serena and Venus Williams lose one match before potential third-round meeting. Coincidence?

USA TODAY Sports' For the Win is reporting that Williams is taking advantage of her unscheduled time off by spending time with Caroline Wozniacki and crashing a wedding in Miami.

According to For the Win, Williams and Wozniacki had courtside seats to the Miami Heat's series-clinching victory over the Indiana Pacers and posed with backup Heat center Greg Oden and the Eastern Conference championship trophy.

For the Win added that the women then celebrated with Oden and Chris Bosh. Wozniacki was allowed to take over a DJ booth at a Miami club.

Serena Williams tweets her support for jilted friend Caroline Wozniacki

Williams and Wozniacki hit the beach Saturday, and Williams then stumbled upon a wedding that she crashed. The bride and groom didn't seem to mind as they took a couple of pictures with the No. 1 player in the world.

So while the tennis world is focused on Roland Garros and the battle to win the championship that Williams won last season, Serena can be commended for doing some really cool things with her time.

Her presence at the wedding likely will be something the happy couple will remember for the rest of their lives. And Serena is showing that she's a really good friend.

Wozniacki had about the worst week imaginable last week after her fiancé, golfer Rory McIlroy, not only broke off the engagement but also ended the relationship during a three-minute phone conversation. Wozniacki thought McIlroy's phone call was a joke, at first.

Williams tweeted her support for Wozniacki shortly after McIlroy announced the breakup and made good on that support by spending time with Wozniacki and taking her mind off her troubles, even if only temporarily.

Williams deserves Good Samaritan recognition for her generosity.
