Celtics 'Not Impressed' By Heat Streak

The Boston Celtics are not impressed by the Miami Heat's 20-game winning streak, according to comments made by the team to ESPNBoston.com. "Not really impressed with it or anything that they do," said Jason Terry, who defeated Miami in the 2011 NBA Finals as a member of the Dallas Mavericks. "So, for me, it's more about what our team is doing and how we're coming together as a unit."

Boston will host Miami at the TD Garden on Monday. If the Heat earn victories in their next two games before facing Boston, they will tie the 2007-08 Houston Rockets 22-game streak for the second longest winning streak in NBA history.

It was the Celtics and their core of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce who snapped the Rockets' streak -- five years to the day of the Miami Boston matchup. Pierce commented on whether he wants the Heat to still be carrying the streak entering Monday's matchup.

"I really don't even care," Pierce said. "I hope they lose every game the rest of the season. I just worry about what this team does."
