Indiana Pacers president Larry Bird isn’t a man that is disappointed often, but when Lance Stephenson blew into LeBron James’ ear in Game 5, he pushed the wrong button.
Pacers president Larry Bird has seen it all in his time involved with the NBA, but when asked if via text message if Stephenson’s antics bothered him Bird responded, "yes." Bird was a player of class and has translated his game into the way he carries himself off the court, so his feelings toward Stephenson’s shenanigans isn't a surprise.
Asked Larry Bird today what would have happened had opponent blown in his ear on court. Big laugh. Then he said: "Times have changed."

Lance Stephenson says Larry Bird told him not to pull the ear-blowing stunt again. — Tim Reynolds (@ByTimReynolds) May 30, 2014
Stephenson has been attempting to get under James’ skin the entire series, but his latest attempt has caused more bad than good for the soon-to-be free agent. When asked about the ear blowing incident, Stephenson simply said "Just playing ball," which can be translated into “no comment”.
The Pacers salvaged Game 5 from the Heat, but are still on the verge of elimination. Game 6 is Friday night and if Stephenson wants be come back to Indiana after this season, he will attempt to play nice.
