Colin Kaepernick Sexual Assault Case: 'I Did Nothing Wrong' To Accuser [VIDEO]

San Francisco 49ers star quarterback Colin Kaepernick continues to profess his unabashed innocence in a Miami sexual assault probe he was implicated in more than a month ago.

Back then, a woman told police she spent the evening with Kaepernick, Niners teammate Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawks Ricardo Lockette drinking and smoking marijuana, only to black out and awake to find herself in an hospital emergency room, according to the San Jose Mercury News

After complaining of an assault, she was administered a rape test kit and later told investigators she was with Kaepernick at his apartment where they kissed and she completely disrobed before passing out.

"The district attorney has the information today," Kaepernick told The News. "At this point, I'm going to let them handle their business. I did nothing wrong in that incident, so I want to do everything I can to let the DA close this matter."

Police have since revealed the woman claimed to have had a previous physical relationship with Kaepernick, but insists she did not consent to sex that night.

"Our investigation has been presented to our Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office and we await their decision whether to prosecute or not," said Miami Chief of Police Manuel

The 26-year-old Kaepernick has led the Niners deep into the playoffs the last two seasons, passing for more than 5,000 yards and 31 touchdowns over that time.
