Club America Targeting Tigres UANL Midfielder Lucas Lobos?
With the move, the now-former Xolos players are reunited with their former manager, Antonio Mohammed. The duo featured under Mohammed in Tijuana during the 2012 Apertura season—one in which the club captured its first-ever Liga MX title. They will now look to duplicate that success at what is arguably the biggest brand in Mexican football.
Pellerano made 15 appearances for Tijuana, providing seven goals and an assist. His 21 chances created, per the Opta Sports data officially licensed by Squawka, was the third highest total of any Xolos player in 2014. Gandolfi brings a prowess of his own, a defensive one in which he averaged 11 defensive actions per match last season.

In an offseason riddled with rumors—including the potential exits of Moises Munoz, Raul Jimenez and Miguel Layun—America finally boast a tangible transfer that will invigorate the supporters and bolster a side that qualified for the 2014 Clausura Liguilla.
