Roy Hibbert took a good, hard look in the mirror after the Indiana Pacers' Game 4 loss to the Miami Heat on Monday night.

Paul George questions Roy Hibbert's heart after Game 1 loss to the Wizards in East semis

It appeared to be a two-way mirror.

Hibbert reverted back to his Atlanta series form with zero points, five rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in the 102-90 loss to the Heat that gave the defending champions a commanding 3-1 lead in their Eastern Conference finals series

"Consistency hasn't been my biggest friend this year," Hibbert said, according to USA TODAY Sports, "so I'm going to try to continue to play aggressive. I'm going to try to control the things that I can control. I can't control play calls."

That quote, however, did not come after the lost Monday. It came after Hibbert had his breakout game in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Washington Wizards when he scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the Pacers' 86-82 win.

Roy Hibbert calls teammates selfish, leading to his declining stats

After Monday night, Hibbert was singing the same tune ... partially.

"I can only control what I can control," Hibbert said, according to ESPN. "I can't control plays called for me. I just need to be a good teammate if I don't get looks."

But he also added this little dig at coach Frank Vogel, the person Hibbert must've been looking at in the two-way mirror.

"The game plan really wasn't to utilize me as much; I'm just trying to be effective as I can," Hibbert said. "Would I like a little bit more touches early on? Yeah. But that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes."

What happened to continuing to play aggressive?

To be fair to Hibbert, his defense was nullified a bit because of the stellar outside shooting of Chris Bosh, who finished with 25 points.

But Hibbert hardly can be accused of bringing energy in other ways. If he reverted on the court to his negligible play, it sounds as if it was due to the fact that he reverted to his attitude that shifted the blame away from himself.
