Caroline Wozniacki is happy for the 31 guys still in her life to help her forget about the one that got away. Not to mention the rival who has pledged her support as a friend

Knee injury preventing Caroline Wozniacki from throwing herself back into her work after breakup

Wozniacki broke her silence Thursday after golfer Rory McIlroy revealed a day earlier that he had broken off their engagement.

The former No. 1 tennis player in the world received a gift from some old friends that she showed off in a photo posted by NESN.com. It is interesting to note that the tweet was published at 3:14 a.m. local time.

"You'll never walk alone" is the Liverpool team's anthem, according to a youtube.com video posted by The Fumble. Happier Rory McIlroy in contention at BMW PGA Championship? But in a response to Wozniacki's tweet, none other than Serena Williams offered words of encouragement.

Media have reported on McIlroy's performance at the BMW PGA Championship, applauding his ability to block out his personal-life issues and focus on his play.

But Wozniacki is the one who needs the support after being the one dumped just short of the altar. She is trying to pick up the pieces of a life that will be far different than the one she imagined just a few days earlier when wedding invitations went out.

"I am a huge Liverpool fan," Wozniacki told the club's website during an interview in 2010. "I watch almost every match because I really like football, and when I have time off, I always watch Liverpool matches."

One of Wozniacki's prized possessions is her autographed Steven Gerrard jersey, which she once wore while warming up for a match, NESN.com reported.

Wozniacki also is dealing with a knee injury that has prevented her from any sort of running for conditioning purposes, as well as has affected her serve. Now, the No. 14 player in the world will have a much tougher path to get through.
