The coaching carousel continues to spin and this time the rumors are pointing to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Reports are surfacing that the Cavaliers have contacted Florida Gators' head coach Billy Donovan about their head coaching vacancy.

Donovan confirmed the reports that he has been contacted by NBA teams and, aside from being vague about the teams involved, he said he was very happy at Florida.

"I have spoken to a couple NBA teams, and that's all I'm going to say," Donovan said. "It's always flattering, but at the same time, I've always said that I'm very happy here and like it here.”

Many remember Donovan for his brief stay with the Orlando Magic before he returned to Florida only days later. Donovan cited that situation when asked why he was keeping the details so close to the chest. The Cavaliers are the only team that has been confirmed to have contacted Donovan, but teams like the Lakers could be included on the list.

Donovan is entering his 19th season at Florida where he has made the Final Four four times and taken home the national championship twice. The Cavaliers are in the middle of a rebuild and plan to be big buyers this coming offseason. If Cleveland's pan is to make a push for the top free agents, like LeBron James, it is likely their targets will have a say in who the new head coach will be.
