The third-ranked Florida State Seminoles are coming off a season defining 2-1 win against the University of South Florida Bulls in order to get to super regionals and now they are looking to capitalize. FSU is hosting a super regional matchup for the first time in school history and posted an impressive record of 53-6.
Florida State set out with the goal of making a championship run during offseason and now they are two wins away from clinching a spot in the Women’s College World Series. All that stands in the Seminoles way is the Michigan Wolverines (46-13). This is game one of the three game series.
After the completion of the game, the second game of ESPN’s double header will air. The Nebraska Cornhuskers (44-16) against the Alabama Crimson Tide (48-11) in game one of their own three game series. Both games will air on ESPN and can be watched back to back with the link provided.
Florida State softball is 25-1 at home this season. Yeah, and in postseasons since 2006, Arizona State was 32-3 at home before yesterday.
