The Cleveland Cavaliers have never truly recovered from losing LeBron James to the Miami Heat, but with James possibly becoming a free agent this offseason could it be time for a reunion?

Charles Barkley certainly believes it’s time for LeBron to go home and believed he would end up back in a Cavs uniform all along.

Barkley spoke to ESPN’s SVP & Russillo and put his name out there as an advocate for James returning to Cleveland no matter how this season ends.

"I've always thought he was going to go back to Cleveland," Barkley said. "Nobody dislikes LeBron. I think LeBron made a huge mistake with that 'Decision' crap. He's come back and since admitted that. That's the only thing people hold against LeBron.

"He's a great player, a great person. I hope he goes back to Cleveland. Those fans in Miami are not real fans, those fans in Cleveland are real fans. I've always hoped he would go back to Cleveland. That would be a great way to finish his career.”

The Cavaliers could solve all their woes if they were able to convince James to return and have just the right amount of pieces to make the push. Cleveland could tempt James to test the waters considering they already have Kyrie Irving and the NBA draft’s No. 1 overall pick.

Cleveland has so much wiggle room to offer James it might be too good an offer for him to turn down. The Cavs have a favorable cap situation and are still vacant at head coach, which James himself could influence if he so chooses. Buckle up ladies and gentleman, this summer could be the return of the king to Cleveland.
