The Houston Texans have had themselves quite an eventful offseason and it is only getting worse as they have many questions to answer with their roster. Andre Johnson and Arian Foster in particular are the focus of many key changes for the team even after the draft.

Dan Hanzus of NFL.com reports that Johnson will not attend the Texans optional organized team workouts and will also skip the mandatory minicamps when the time comes. This is discouraging news for the Texans as earlier reports had stated that Johnson and coach Bill O’Brien had gotten on the same page.

Johnson is on the record to saying that he isn’t sure if "there is a place" for him Houston in light of the Texans doing little to address the quarterback position this offseason.

Call it coincidence or part of the plan all along, but MyFoxHouston is also reporting that Arian Foster will see reps at receiver in O’Brien’s new offense. Foster spoke highly of the possible change and thinks of it as a chance to flex his versatility.

"So far I really love it," Foster said. "It's very versatile.

"Coach O'Brien has expressed many times how he wants to use me a lot out of the backfield. That's one of my strengths as a running back. So I'm excited about it.”

The Texans are coming off a miserable season in which they lost 14 straight games after winning their first two. Of the two pieces that make the Texans offense tick, one wants out of Houston and one is embracing his new role.
