The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were one of the most vocal teams when it came to pre-draft rumors, especially when it came to quarterbacks. The Buccaneers walked away with no rookie quarterbacks and have proclaimed second-year player Mike Glennon the future of the franchise.

The Bucs are going through a mini-rebuild of sorts as they have a new general manager in Jason Licht and head coach in Lovie Smith, but have enough talent to make the quick fix. The Buccaneers could make one of the leagues quickest turnarounds if their quarterback situation pans out and it starts with Josh McCown in 2014.

After 2014, the Buccaneers and Licht like what they see in Glennon.

"We looked at all the tape of last year,”

"Having him in the building and going through that first minicamp with him and seeing how he was in meetings and interacted with the team -- and more importantly how he was on the field -- just secured our feelings of how we evaluated him and felt about him.”

"That really helped with our draft strategy.”

The Buccaneers have finally been honest in the public eye and the only question they have at the position is if Mike Kafka, Alex Tanney or undrafted college free agent Brett Smith will be the teams third string quarterback. The Buccaneers are a popular pick to be a 2014 rebound team, but that is all circumstantial on how efficient the quarterback position is.
