Minnesota Timberwolves big man Kevin Love reportedly wants out of Minnesota sooner rather than later and will test the free agent waters when his contract is up at the end of 2014. The Wolves would be wise to trade him during the offseason and get whatever they can for Love before he leaves town for nothing. Who would be the ideal candidates for Loves’ talents that could give the Wolves enough pieces to not lose sleep?

Boston Celtics: The Celtics could become one of the fastest rebuilds ever if they were able to land Love and they might have enough pieces to make the Wolves happy in the process. The Celtics would have to deal their lottery pick to Minnesota and if the balls fall the way they should it will be the No. 5 pick. Add in the likes of Brandon Bass and Jared Sullinger and the Celtics could get another superstar for Rajon Rondo.

Los Angeles Lakers: The Lakers have to be mentioned in every conversation involving a potential superstar, especially Love. It’s no secret the Lakers want the Minnesota big man and the fact that Love grew up in California and played for UCLA should only increase his interest in Los Angeles. The Lakers also hold a pretty high lottery pick, but if the ping pong balls fall in their favor they could turn a top three pick into the prize they have coveted all along.

Golden State Warriors: The Warriors can offer the Wolves the most at this point in time. Players like Harrison Barnes and David Lee are the top players Minnesota can pull away from a team that isn't going through a rebuild process. The Wolves would also receive a future draft pick and roll the dice that the Warriors have a fall from grace over the years. Another thing that could hinder Golden State is if Love would sign an extension to stay a Warrior.
