In an interview with WrestleTalkTV, TNA Impact Wrestling star Robbie E of The BroMans was asked about the high-profile departures of big names like Hulk Hogan (who has returned to WWE) and TNA Originals like AJ Styles from the company.

When it came to the subject of Hulk Hogan leaving TNA, Robbie E said that while it was good to have a big name star like Hogan on the marquis, he's "already forgotten about it" and has moved forward without thinking about Hogan since he left.

CB's Analysis: I am sure that Hulk Hogan has "already forgotten" about his time in TNA as well, especially now that he is back with WWE as an ambassador for the WWE Network and working in other capacities for Vince McMahon as well. After all, the Hogan-TNA partnership looked great on paper but never really translated into anything substantial for TNA's ratings or program quality during the time that Hogan and Eric Bischoff ran the show.

TNA Spike TV Contract Expiring, Impact Roster Cuts, Bobby Roode Suspended, More

On the subject of AJ Styles, Robbie E had a bit more praise for The Phenomenal One and said it was a shame that TNA and Styles couldn't work out whatever they had to work out to sign AJ to a new TNA contract.

CB's Analysis: For me, the loss of AJ Styles was the biggest blow to TNA because by not re-signing AJ, they lost the face of the entire company in the eyes of so many loyal fans. While Hulk Hogan, Sting and other high-profile talents were seen as hired hands, AJ Styles and guys like Christopher Daniels and Kazarian were everything that was right about TNA Impact Wrestling.

Ultimately, TNA has proven to be in cost-cutting mode when it comes to veteran wrestlers whose contracts are up, but someone like AJ Styles really should have been taken care of and finished his wrestling days as the face of TNA.
