Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide have never been punished for "dirty recruiting", but that might all come to an end if former West Virginia quarterback Pat White’s allegations are true.

White has accused the Tide of offering him a Corvette when he was being recruited in 2004, but turned it down to go to West Virginia. White commented on a story about a new Alabama recruit showing off his new car suspiciously close to his commitment to the school.

White’s post is as follows:

“Stop pretending like you didn't know the crimson tide has been doing this for years. Still glad I turned down a Corvette to become a mountaineer.”

When asked about the accusations Nick Saban, who wasn’t the teams head coach when White was recruited, refused to comment on the allegation.

The problem with White’s story is that there are mixed reports on if Alabama even offered him a scholarship. Rivals says that White was never offered a scholarship while Scout says that he was. White was a 3-star athlete coming out of high school which would make his story even more unlikely as he was not even close to being an elite prospect.

Where did White get this story from and, if he is telling the truth, will there be an investigation into the matter? Stay tuned as the NCAA looks into every little issue and they are especially picky when it comes to recruiting violations
