The status for two of the WWE's biggest Superstars is up in the air as Brock Lesnar hasn't been seen since ending The Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania XXX and won't be back for a few months while Batista is likely to go on hiatus soon and may not appear on next week's television tapings from London.

Sting Yet To Sign Contract With WWE

Lesnar shocked the world and sparked many debates when he became the man that ended The Streak at WrestleMania XXX on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, and appeared on Monday Night RAW the following night to brag about causing 'Taker to go 21-1 at the biggest event of the year.

Lesnar, who is on a limited appearances contract with the company, hasn't appeared on WWE T.V. in over a month and will not be back until August, which led to many fans debating whether or not a part-time wrestler was the right guy to end The Streak.

Backstage Reason For CM Punk Quitting The WWE

"The Beast" is expected to return to the WWE in August and have a match at the SummerSlam pay-per-view on Aug. 17. Lesnar was rumored to face Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, but with Bryan undergoing neck surgery and the status of the title up in the air it remains to be seen if that will still happen.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE plans on giving Lesnar a two-pay-per-view match arc as he is expected to appear at SummerSlam and stick around to build into the following Night of Champions event in September. WWE is hoping to load up the September pay-per-view in order to beef up WWE Network subscriptions.

As for Batista, it was reported that he turned down a match with Bryan for the title at Payback on June 1 in Chicago because he didn't want to lose to a former wrestler before he goes on hiatus, but those reports were apparently untrue and Batista was frustrated over his use and pay.

Batista is working the Payback pay-per-view in a match that pits him, Triple H and Randy Orton against The Shield which may have an added elimination rules stipulation. Following that event, "The Animal" is slated to take a two-month hiatus to promote his upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie before returning for SummerSlam around the time Lesnar comes back.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Batista isn't advertised for London's RAW and SmackDown shows this coming week, but it's likely due to the fact that his status was up in the air and now that he's decided to stay through Payback he'll likely be there.

Batista and Lesnar may not be seen in the WWE for most of the summer, but both will have important roles come August.
