The Washington Redskins have gone all in on Robert Griffin III, but it looks like the quarterback has a little bit more sway in the organization than we thought. RGIII might have been responsible for the Redskins taking former Baylor Bears’ running back Lache Seastrunk in the draft.

It’s no secret that RGIII is the golden child of the Redskins’ organization, but is it really the best idea to let him show how much power he has in decision making. Griffin is rumored to be one of the main reasons Mike Shanahan was fired as head coach as the two feuded all of the 2013 season concerning Griffin’s health and now he had at least a little sway in a draft pick.

Seastrunk was projected to go around the area he was selected, so he wasn't a reach by any means for the Redskins, but with limited picks in Washington, was a running back one of their dire needs? Seastrunk could end up being a fine pick for the Redskins and he could be one of their top playmakers with his skill set, but under the circumstances Griffin isn’t doing himself any favors.

RGIII has had himself an eventful two seasons in the NFL and maybe the best medicine for him could be to take a backseat from the decision making and focus on the 2014 season. If he chooses to keep putting himself into these decisions he could find himself with a reputation that isn't very flattering.
