The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with safety William Moore on a five-year contract, according to ESPN. Moore's deal is worht a maximum of $32 million, including $18 million in the first three years, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Moore was expected to command a salary near the top of the safety market this offseason, much like Eric Weddle's league high safety contract averaging around $8 million. The 2009 second-round pick was an integral part of the Atlanta secondary, making the Pro Bowl last season.

The 27-year-old finished fifth amongst Falcons defensive players with 75 tackles last season, despite suffering a hamstring injury and missing four games. He also added four interceptions in 2012, giving him 11 over his four-year career.

The move comes a week after Atlanta parted ways with several veterans, including starting defensive players Dunta Robinson and John Abraham, in order to free up cap space and make a splash during free agency. The Falcons have invested some of that money toward re-siging Moore and keeping him in Atlanta for the future.
