The Kansas City Chiefs and former Atlanta Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson reached an agreement Friday night on a three-year deal, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Robinson was one of several starters cut by the Falcons last week in order to free up $16 million in cap space.

The 30-year-old signed with the Falcons in 2010 and was a key contributor to the Falcons secondary. Robinson recorded four interceptions over the past three seasons, however, was known especially for his big hits.

The agreement with Robinson is just the latest in the Chiefs busy offseason in hopes for the franchise to complete thier rebuilding process. Kansas City re-signed Dwayne Bowe to a five-year, $56 million deal, while also re-signing punter Dustin Colquitt to a five-year deal worth $18.75 million. Kansas City also gave left tackle Branden Albert the franchise tag at more than $9.7 million and have agreed to a trade for former 49ers starting quarterback Alex Smith.
