Who are the latest best sellers when it comes to WWE merchandise sales? We have the latest rundown and to no one's surprise, John Cena tops the active list. However, The Ultimate Warrior has posthumously topped Cena in Internet sales, and we have some other surprises to report.

According to The Wresling Observer Newsletter, "The Internet merchandise numbers were Warrior first, followed by Cena, Punk, Bryan, The Wyatts, The Shield, Evolution and Hogan."

Meanwhile, The Observer reports that "At the arenas, Cena is so far above everyone else ... that it's not even close. The latest best sellers at the arenas have been Cena, Bryan, Orton, Warrior, RVD, Lesnar, Wyatts, Batista and Sin Cara has broken into the No. 9 spot. It's notable that past Cena, Bryan and Orton, everyone on the list is new as far as character merchandising, except Sin Cara."

WWE's 25 Greatest Nicknames in History; The Champ is Here but The Rock Snubbed?

Sin Cara making the list is more of a fluke than anything else, while Batista in the Top 10 is interesting considering the overwhelming negative reactions he gets from the vocal fans in the live crowds.

Lastly, the report also indicates that the four non-active / retired wrestlers that WWE is pushing merchandise-wise are Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Ultimate Warrior in that order.

As for leveraging those merchandise sales numbers into making future matches, the current rumors for SummerSlam 2014 are Roman Reigns vs. Triple H and Brock Lesnar vs. Cesaro in singles matches. The idea for those two contests would be to have Reigns and Cesaro go over Triple H and Lesnar to solidify them as credible babyfaces.
