In a recent interview with the Totally Driven Radio Show, former WWE Divas and TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James confirmed that she was pregnant. James last wrestled for TNA Impact Wrestling in September 2013 when the "Hardcore Country" singer lost to ODB in a match that cost her the TNA Knockouts Championship.

According to a report from Diva-Dirt, Mickie James confirmed her pregancy and also stated that it was not something she had planned. She also said that if she waited until she was ready to have a baby, it might have never happened.

While there has been no official word on the father of the child, TNAInsider.com reports that "Mickie has been in a relationship with former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Magnus," so it could be him.

CB's Analysis: Mickie James is one of my favorite female wrestlers in the history of pro wrestling. Whether she was battling WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus (a new mom herself) in WWE or taking on the various TNA Knockouts she squared off against over the years, I always paid attention when she wrestled.

One thing I also appreciated about Mickie James is that she was great at getting into character and whether she was a babyface getting picked on by Michelle McCool and Layla or turning heel against Velvet Sky on Impact Wrestling, James knew exactly what she was doing.

At the end of the day, I am sure Mickie James will tackle motherhood head on the way she did pro wrestling, and I hope that one day she makes it back to the ring to compete once more. If not, there's always her country music career to keep pursuing as well.
