Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins faceoff for Game 5 of their Round 2 best-of-seven series as part of the Stanley Cup Playoffs live from the TD Garden in Boston. The game can be live steamed for free here. Montreal fans can hear all of the action on TSN 690 while Boston fans can do the same on WBZ 830.
Montreal looks to bounce back from a tough home-ice loss and take a 3-2 series lead on the road while Boston tries to string together two wins in a row and take a 3-2 lead back to Canada.
These teams have alternated wins, but no one in this series is surprised that it will take at least six games to wrap up.
"We all thought this was going to be a long series," Montreal defenseman Josh Gorges said via NHL.com. "Nothing is ever easy when you play against Boston and Boston plays Montreal."
The Bruins know they'll be in for a tight game with one of their fiercest rivals.
"They play us tight," center Gregory Campbell said Friday per NHL.com. "And they had some chances, we had some chances, it was back and forth, so in those games, usually it's a mistake by one side or the other, or a goal that's a fluky goal."
The Bruins have been paced by Patrice Bergeron (3-6--9), Torey Krug (2-6--8) and Milan Lucic (4-3--7) this postseason while P.K. Subban (3-8--11), Lars Eller (3-5--8) have led the Canadiens.
In net, Tuuka Rask is 6-3 this postseason with a 1.67 GAA and a .941 save percentage for Boston while Carey Price is 6-2 for Montreal with a 2.29 GAA and a .921 save percentage.
The Canadiens and Bruins skate against each other tonight in Game 5 live from the TD Garden in Boston.
