New Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel waited a bit longer than expected during the NFL draft, so he went all out in partying afterward with celebrities including Drake and Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving. Other new NFL players, however, preferred to lie low with their post-draft celebrations.

The NY Post reports that the new Cleveland Browns quarterback partied hard at Avenue nightclub in Chelsea, downing rum shots and partying with attractive women. The flamboyant former Texas A&M standout was the center of attention at the party in the club mezzanine, as the newspaper puts it, with friends like Drake, Irving, and his old college coach Kevin Sumlin in attendance.

One witness told NY Post was quoted as saying: "Manziel held court at a private booth, as girls flocked to his table. He looked like he was loving the attention. He did shots of Atlantico [rum] and flirted and danced with the girls before spraying Champagne over everybody. We hope Manziel continues to love the game as much as he's obviously loving the fame."

The party was said to have ended at three oclock in the morning but Manziel still had the energy to attend the introductory news conference of the Browns in Berea, Ohio.

Other new NFL draft picks were also seen celebrating in downtown New York.

In the same nightclub where Manziel partied, LSU standout Odell Beckham, Jr. was spotted with New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz. Others in the party were Busta Rhymes and rapper Yo Gotti.

New Jacksonville Jaguar Blake Bortles, meanwhile, was seen having a more relaxed celebration at Willow Road in Chelsea including former Chicago Bear Jordan Palmer.
