The first round of the NFL draft has come and gone and on top of the huge names finding their new home, there are many still waiting to hear their name called. Teddy Bridgewater avoided being the next Geno Smith when the Vikings jumped up and snagged him at No. 32, but who are the best prospects for the second round?

Marqise Lee: Lee was all but guaranteed to be a first round pick, but the interesting picks by the Cardinals, Eagles and Patriots have bumped him into the second day of the draft. The wide receiver class is the best in years so seeing a few fall was bound to happen, but take away Lee’s injury-plagued 2013 season and he could have been a Top 15 pick. Some team will grab him early Friday night and it will be a steal.

Derek Carr: Carr is another first round prospect that fell from the graces into the second round. Carr could be the first player off the board at No. 33 to the Texans, but he shouldn’t last outside of the Top 10. Carr was rumored to be drafted in the first round, but all of that turned out to be smoke and mirrors as now we find Carr still looking for a home through 32 picks.

Louis Nix III: It isn't too surprising that Nix fell into the second round considering how limited his skill set it. Nix is a huge block eating nose tackle that can be put in the middle of most 3-4 schemes. The issue with him is that he can’t play any other position other than nose tackle so a team like San Diego was the only shot he had in the first round.

Jordan Matthews: Matthews is another player that suffers from the depth at the wide receiver position. Matthews, along with Cody Latimer, will find a home in the second round and will be thrown into the mix with teams that have the luxury of needing a receiver instead of another position of need. Matthews won’t be waiting long come Friday.

Morgan Moses: I am stunned the Panthers passed on Moses for Kelvin Benjamin, but the Redskins will thank them for their generosity. Moses was ranked ahead of Ju’Wuan James, whom the Dolphins picked at No. 19, yet here he is floating around in the second round. Moses is a right tackle prospect and those grow on trees, but he could have the potential to grow into a serviceable left tackle.
