In an interview with The Wrestling Observer, Christopher Daniels spoke about his TNA departure, Bad Influence vs. TNA management, low locker room morale backstage and possibly joining Jeff Jarrett as part of Global Force Wrestling.

Christopher Daniels on His TNA Contract Not Being Renewed:

"I always found it funny when I heard reports that I was one of the higher paid guys on the roster. I‘d look at my paycheck and I never thought I was one of the higher paid guys. Essentially my contract was one of those where you only made a lot of money if you worked a lot, and I certainly wasn't working as much near the end of my contract as I was a year ago.

I don't think that financial reasons were the reason I wasn't renewed. I don't know if they thought our act was tired or they wanted to go in a different direction. I'm not sure why that's the case, especially when I felt like there was a simple and great program in the works between us and Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, but apparently the guys on the creative team didn't have the same desire to see that program take place."

Daniels goes on to say that he was still very surprised to leave TNA despite all of the Internet rumors that started in January. I also agree with his sentiment that Bad Influence vs. The Wolves would have been a fun program to watch on Impact.

Adam Rose and The Exotic Express Roll Through WWE Raw

Christopher Daniels on Bad Influence vs. TNA management:

"We pitched ideas about being back in the thick of things for the tag titles, and we pitched ideas about getting away from the tag situation because it seemed like they didn't want us in that position. But no one ever really got back to us about any of the ideas that we ever pitched. Every once in a while we would hear, ‘Oh, we're going in a different direction.' So that was the majority of it."

Daniels goes on to mention some of his own ideas that he wrote being rejected and always being fed the same lines about "going in a different direction." That's a shame since he is a very creative mind.

Christopher Daniels on TNA Backstage Locker Room Morale:

"I sometimes wonder... the tendency for anybody, especially when you're with friends and you're in the trenches, is to laugh at the stuff that you interpret as ridiculous or silly, and to grouch about the things that you interpret as not being good. That to me isn't morale, that's just like getting through the day."

Daniels then says regardless of any issues TNA was having, "it was never so bad that we were all looking to drink bleach or anything." Great line there.

Global Force Wrestling: 'The Journey' Webisode 3 Recap

Christopher Daniels on Possibly Joining GFW:

"I think the only people that know who is on that database right now are Jeff and Karen [Jarrett]. I think that Jeff has a plan in mind, and he's moving at the pace that he wants to move at. So whenever something comes up and materializes, we'll see what happens. I feel like Frankie and I have a good relationship with Jeff and if he were to decide to put Bad Influence on the roster, that would be something that we would definitely be up for doing."

CB's Analysis: What is TNA's loss could be GFW's gain, and if I was Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett or anyone involved in signing up talent to join Global Force Wrestling, I would call up Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian in a heartbeat and bring Bad Influence on board.
