Here is the latest news surrounding the identity of the newest member of the TNA Knockouts division and Knux Family Menagerie carny group member Rebel, who is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. What is Rebel's real name, her connection to professional wrestling and how did she wind up in TNA? Let's take a closer look.

According to WrestlingHeadlines.com, the character of Rebel is being played by former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Tanea Brooks. Brooks was suggested to TNA management by Christy Hemme, who knows Tanea from being in the Purrfect Angelz dance group together.

In addition to landing the role of Rebel, Tanea Brooks is also a model and dancer who has been in country music videos by artists such as Trace Adkins (the video was for a song called, you guessed it, "Honkey Tonk Badonkadonk." She has relocated to Louisville, Kentucky to train with Ohio Valley Wrestling and will be premiering on TNA Impact as part of Menagerie shortly. (Credit: Lords of Pain)

CB's Analysis: I am already a huge fan of the new Knux Family carny group Menagerie and they haven't even debuted yet on Impact Wrestling. At the very least, it's something different for TNA's presentation, and I am intrigued by what the Knux Family ring entrances will be like almost as much as how their matches will go down.

In addition to Knux and Rebel, the Knux Family will also feature a guy named "Crazy Steve," a repackaged Rob Terry as a masked muscle man simply known as "The Freak," and non-wrestling performers on stilts as part of their gimmick.
