Paul George's baby mama is back in the news, just as his Pacers overcame a great deal of adversity in Round 1 of the NBA Playoffs. George had a fine series, and is preparing to face a tough Washington Wizards team; as if that weren't enough to worry about, past rumors are re-surfacing regarding a Miami dancer claiming to be his baby's mother.

A woman named Daniela, who made headlines by insinuating George offered her $1 million to have an abortion, has given birth to a baby girl and posted photos on Instagram.

George did admit relations with Daniela, but denied offering any money for an abortion. "If and when there is legal confirmation that I am the father, I will fully embrace my responsibilities. This is a personal matter that is still being sorted out, so I hope you can respect my privacy," George said at the time.

A spokesman for George discussed the million-dollar offer saying simply, "There is no truth to the rumors that Paul offered money for [Daniela] not to have the child."

George might've let the rumors affect him on the court for a while, as his struggles coincided with a slump that lasted over a month for his entire squad. Indiana's struggles lasted throughout Round 1, but George awoke from his malaise.

He averaged 23.9 points and 10.7 rebounds per game in Round 1, clamped down on Atlanta's point guard Jeff Teague, and recorded 2.4 steals per game. He also distributed, handing out 4.6 assists a night.

George now must focus his attention on Washington's young and explosive backcourt of John Wall and Bradley Beal, as he will likely be tasked with guarding the ultra-quick Wall for much of Round 2.

At times in Round 1 Wall made mincemeat of Chicago's famed defense, with averaged of 18.8 points and 6.8 assists per game. Wall can be inefficient at times, however, and shot just over 36 percent from the field. It will absolutely be the key matchup in the series.
