It has been rumored that Bill Goldberg will return to the WWE for one last match at WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015 live from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. and the WWE has plans in place for how they'll utilize Goldberg leading into the biggest pay-per-view of 2015.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE is planning on following in the footsteps of how they brought the late Ultimate Warrior into the fold for this year's WrestleMania XXX event.

While its unknown if a Hall of Fame induction will be included as it was for The Warrior, the WWE plans to bring in Goldberg for its WWE 2K15 video game as it did with The Warrior for WWE 2K14, and the company has plans to announce Goldberg's inclusion in the video game around SummerSlam in August.

The WWE will then use the hype from Goldberg being in the video game to springboard into a WrestleMania 31 appearance for the man who once went 173-0 during a memorable streak in WCW.

Goldberg reportedly still trains daily and is in good enough shape to return to the ring and he has also had interest in his wife and son seeing him perform at what he does best in the squared circle at least once.

It was rumored that Goldberg would be brought in for WrestleMania XXX last month in New Orleans, but nothing was ever agreed upon and he ended up not appearing at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in any capacity.

There were conflicting reports about him meeting with Triple H as Goldberg was reportedly upset with Triple H's negotiating tactics when trying to get him to come back to the WWE and reportedly didn't like the amount of money "The Game" offered him for his one-off appearance.

Goldberg later admitted that he did speak with Triple H about coming back some day but also added that they barely spoke about a WrestleMania appearance and the meetings were in the early stages with nothing near complete.

There was speculation that Goldberg would face Ryback at WrestleMania XXX, however that never came to fruition.

It seems as though Goldberg will be set for his first appearance at the show of shows since 2004 and that he may have one final match at WrestleMania 31.
