Rumors continue to persist that Chicago Bulls All-Star Joakim Noah is persistent in urging New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony to leave the Big Apple and join him and injured superstar Derrick Rose in the Windy City.

The Chicago Sun Times is reporting that several sources, including a teammate, say that Noah has been texting Anthony about the possibility of joining the Bulls next season after the high-scoring forward opts out of his contract this summer. While Noah and Anthony have both denied talking about this in the past, the rumor mill continues to be buzzing with news of Anthony signing with the Bulls with Noah as his recruiter.

The Sun Times also says that the text messages between the two All-Stars have been sent throughout the season, including the day after the Bulls lost game 5 at home against the Washington Wizards.

Noah again denied the rumors telling the media outlet: "What are you talking about? The gossip going on? I feel a lot of gossip. I think we all know that we're in a good place. We've got a healthy group, it's a healthy environment, and we're not going to let gossip get in the way of what we're doing. We've gone through so much this year, so it's not going to be a little gossip that gets out there."

Signing Anthony will be a tall task for the Bulls as they have to convince the superstar to sign a contract that will give him around $14 to $15 million a year range. This is significantly lower than the $129 million, five year contract he can sign with the Knicks.
