The NFL Draft’s top prospects have all had their due diligence through the numerous outlets that allows them to voice their claim to NFL teams. One player that is flying right under the radar is the draft's No. 1 ranked tight end in North Carolina’s Eric Ebron.

Sports World News NFL Mock Draft 8.0

According to Dan Pompei of Bleacher Report, many teams in the 15-25 range of picks are thinking of trading up to get Ebron.

Texans, Falcons Trade Talks Cooling?

He might slip past the top 10 because some teams don't want to take a tight end that high. So the word going around is teams in the low teens or even high 20s could make a move for Ebron if he slides a bit. Candidates to move up for him are the Jets, Dolphins, Cardinals and Packers.

Ebron has the potential to be a solid combination of Julius Thomas and Jermichael Finley and his ceiling is no lower than being the third best tight end in the league behind Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski. Ebron could certainly be a prospect worth trading up for if you happen to be a team that is very needy at tight end.

A team to watch if Ebron makes it out of the top 10 is the Tennessee Titans due to their need to get as many 3-4 players as possible as they go through a transition year. The Titans would be an ideal trade parter for a team looking to trade up and if Ebron begins his slide the trade would make sense for both sides.

The Packers strike me as a team that would be the best fit for Ebron and he would have the ability to become the Jimmy Graham to Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees.
