Manny Pacquiao has won his last two fights and set his illustrious career back on track, but a fellow Filipino star still thinks the legendary Pacman isn't his old, dominant self.

Nonito Donaire, the "Filipino Flash," believes Manny fought cautiously against Timothy Bradley in April, possible repercussions from his vicious knockout loss at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez.

He did well to execute and be victorious," said Donaire. "Of course I do see that he is not as fast or as strong, he's a bit cautious but he won convincingly and he did well in hurting Bradley and winning the fight. I think that if he devoted himself to boxing that his speed and power and everything else will come back."

If Donaire's assessment is accurate, it would be difficult to pick Pacquiao in a super fight vs. either Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Canelo Alvarez. While a fight with "Money" is almost definitely a fantasy, discussions have been had about pairing Pacman with Alvarez. Donaire commented on the state of fractured matchmaking in boxing and is in favor of a form of legislation that would make it easier for stars to make fights.

"I think there should be some kind of law that doesn't interfere with fighters fighting each other," Donaire said. "The thing about it is, it really comes down to Top Rank and the networks, because fighters will always fight."

A more likely scenario is a fifth fight with Marquez-Donaire thinks Pacquiao would be able to avenge his loss if given a rematch despite some diminishing qualities.

"I think so because Marquez was almost going down in that fight. That's the thing that people forget and the only thing that people remember is that Marquez took him down. But before that Marquez was almost done."

Marquez will first need to get past Mike Alvarado, whom he is fighting in June.
