Two clubs chasing the Clausura Liga MX title will do battle today in a playoff match between Pachuca and the Pumas of UNAM. The quarterfinal clash scheduled for 9 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Hidalgo in Pachuca and can be live streamed free through the Univision Deportes mobile app.
Finally, Pachuca have returned to the Liguilla. The Tuzos have missed each of the last three tournaments, but according to manager Enrique Meza, the 2014 Liguilla Clausura is an opportunity to return dignity to a club that has captured five league titles in the last 15 years (h/t Terra Deportes). "It's been a few tournaments since we've qualified for the liguilla. Now, we're here," Meza said.
"We expect to perform as best as possible to have the dignified liguilla a quality club like Pachuca deserve," he added.
"I expect a tough opponent who's experienced the same up and downs as we have, but there's no doubt they're a great team. They finished in third place in the table and that deserves much respect."

Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: Predominantly playing a 3-4-3 all season, Pachuca has recently turned to a 4-2-3-1 system that has dropped their leading goalscorer, Enner Valencia, in a withdrawn role behind the striker. That has allowed Abraham Carreno to penetrate the starting XI. The 26-year-old made his first league start last week, scoring two goals and aiding in the club's 4-3 comeback victory over Queretaro.
Pachuca's Projected Lineup (4-2-3-1): Perez; Arreola, Herrera, Cortes, Pizarro; Ayovi, Villalpando; Lozano, Valencia, Damm; Carreno
UNAM's Projected Lineup (4-2-3-1): Palacios; Velarde, Fuentes, Palacios, Rankin; Cabrera, Romagnoli; Cortes, Ludueña, Sosa; Monroy
