Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers faceoff for Game 7 of their first-round best-of-seven series as part of the Stanley Cup Playoffs live from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The game can be live streamed for free here. Philadelphia fans can hear all of the action on 97.5 The Fanatic while New York fans can do the same on 98.7 WEPN.

New York's failure to take a two-game series lead on three separate occasions --including being unable to clinch the series in Game 6 -- may come back to haunt the Blueshirts while Philadelphia may end up regretting its failure to win back-to-back games in the series if it loses tonight after bouncing back from three separate losses to nod things up but never being able to lead the series.

The Rangers took Games 1, 3 and 5 of this series while Philadelphia roared back to even the series in Games 2, 4 and 6. Neither team has won two straight games.

For the Flyers, it's simple, win a game on the road and they advance to face the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the postseason, with Game 1 likely occurring on Friday. The Flyers penalty kill has killed off 20 consecutive Ranger power plays dating back to Game 2.

"We need to come out and we need to be an aggressive hockey team [Wednesday]," Flyers coach Craig Berube said via NHL.com. "Play with a lot of passion and energy. You want to move on? You've got to give everything you've got. ... We can't have anybody not giving everything they've got every shift."

Philadelphia won Game 6 on the back of Wayne Simmonds, who notched a hat trick in the team's 5-2 Game 6 win on home ice and is second on the team with five points off of five goals and one assist. Claude Giroux paces the team with six points off of two tallies and four helpers while Jakub Voracek has found the twine twice while adding two assists for four points.

The Rangers are no strangers to Game 7, with this being the fourth Game 7 the team will play in the last three postseasons. The Rangers are 5-0 all-time on Garden ice in Game 7s and have beaten the Flyers in nine of their last 10 games there, with the lone loss coming in Game 2.

"I've been part of it here with the Rangers," Brad Richards told NHL.com. "There's no better game to be a part of. You always want to close a series out, but when you're on home ice with your fans in a must-win game, those are great days to be part of. We're going to embrace it."

Richards is tied with fellow 2004 Stanley Cup Champion (Tampa Bay Lightning) Martin St. Louis for the team lead with six points off of two goals and four assists apiece while Carl Hagelin and Derek Stepan have each found the back of the net twice and added two helpers for four points and Rick Nash also has four points on four assists while he has yet to net a goal in the series and has just one tally in 18 playoff games with New York.

Henrik Lundqvist hasn't lost a Game 7 with New York in his career between the pipes and comes into the game having allowed 13 goals while stopping 145 shots while Steve Mason will suit up in the crease for Philadelphia for his fourth start and fifth appearance in the series after turning aside 92 shots and yielding six goals.

Everything is on the line when the puck drops on Game 7 between the Flyers and Rangers tonight as part of the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs live from Madison Square Garden in New York.
