Two clubs in opposite halves of the English League Championship table will do battle today in a match between Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic. The second-division clash scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET will be held at St. Andrew's Stadium in Birmingham. Information on how and where to stream the match can be found here.
Desperate to avoid relegation to England's third division, Birmingham City manager Lee Clark believes his club can earn four more points and remain in the Championship (h/t to Sky Sports). "We'll get four points in the next two games and, if the first three come tomorrow night, that's brilliant," Clark said.
"But we've certainly got to make sure that when we go to Bolton on Saturday afternoon, our destiny is in our own hands," he added.
A point against Wigan will take the club out of the bottom three.
"If we do that, we will be in a fantastic position. We'll do what I believe we can do and stay in the League."
When asked if this would be has last season with the club, Clark responded: "I'm from the East End of Newcastle. We don't walk away from anything."
"I'll sit down and talk to people. Hopefully I'll be sitting down at a Championship club."
