Clayton Kershaw didn't mince his words when he was asked whether or not he was satisfied with Los Angeles Dodgers team brass deciding not to bring him back from the disabled list and instead opting to have the ace make one more rehab start before returning to the team.

Kershaw, who has been sidelined ever since his Opening Day start against the Arizona Diamondbacks in Australia last month due to back inflammation, wanted to return to the team and wasn't big on the Dodgers' decision to have him make one more rehab start.
"Not really," Kershaw said Sunday when asked if he agreed with the Dodgers' decision via ESPN. "I did the best I could, but I'm not going to fight the team if everybody doesn't want me to do something. It's what they want me to do."

Kershaw had lobbied to come off of the DL this week, but the team's official Twitter account revealed that he will instead start Wednesday for the Dodgers Class AA Chattanooga affiliate.
The Dodgers have been cautious with their prized southpaw, taking a slow and steady approach to rehabbing him as they want him to be able to throw 90-100 pitches without a problem when he returns instead of having to worry about overusing him with his back injury.
The team is hopeful the ace will toss 80 pitches in Wednesday's outing and then be ready for a return.
Kershaw threw a bullpen session on Sunday and felt healthy enough to come back but has to do what the team wants him to do.
"That's the hard part," Kershaw told ESPN. "You want to pitch in a game when you feel healthy."
The Dodgers currently sit at 14-12 and are in third place in the division. Kershaw is hoping to come back and help eventually lead them to their second National League West crown in as many years.
Kershaw won his lone start of the season while allowing five hits and just one earned run and striking out seven Diamondbacks. In 2013, Kershaw went 16-9 with a 1.83 ERA en route to the Cy Young Award for the National League.
