CM Punk quit the WWE prior to the episode of Monday Night RAW that aired one night after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January, and while he hasn't shown any signs of a return, a WWE Hall of Famer believes that he will come back to the ring at SummerSlam on Aug. 17.

WWE Hall of Famer "Superstar" Billy Graham took to his official Facebook account and speculated that a Punk return could be slated for the WWE's second biggest event of the year.

"The question I have for all of you good fans out there is this, when do you think we will see the return of C M Punk and why ? I say he will once again be in a WWE ring at this coming SummerSlam 2014," Graham wrote. "Why ? Because its a perfect PPV event and tons of time has past since he left and he doesn't want us to forget about him does he ? The man does bring a lot of talent to the table. Superstar"

For Punk to return at that event, he'd have to sign an extension as his contract expires in July.

Punk walked out on the WWE for the speculated reason that he was burned out and that he was tired with the creative direction of his character, though he hasn't said much about his reasons for departing despite the fact that his contract isn't up until July.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Punk was spotted at an NHL Stanley Cup Playoff game between his hometown Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues in Missouri. Punk and Lee got engaged recently and the WWE Diva asked for time off from the company as she had plans to move in with him.

Punk also gave a pep talk to the Holy Trinity High School baseball team in Chicago, a photo of which can be viewed here.

Punk hasn't shown any signs of returning and while Graham suggests SummerSlam would be the perfect event for a comeback, perhaps Payback would make more sense since that event takes place in June from the Allstate Arena in Punk's hometown of Chicago.

Punk skipped the Chicago Monday Night RAW episode on March 3, which irked WWE officials and led them to basically give up hope on a return.

Still, with Punk having over three months away from the company to cool off and rest up, it is possible that the "Best in the World" could return in June or August while it's also possible that he never wrestles for the WWE again.
