Randy Moss took to his twitter page to thank the San Francisco 49ers franchise, hinting at a departure from the team. "Wished we could've finished the job!! Thanks for the opportunity an good luck in the future 9ers," Moss tweeted Saturday.

The 36-year-old receiver ended signed with San Francisco before the 2012 season, ending a one-year retirement. Moss played in every game for the 49ers this season, serving in a reduced role than many were used to seeing.

Moss had 28 receptions for 434 yards and three touchdowns in 2012 for the NFC champion 49ers. He caught two passes for 41 yards in San Francisco's Super Bowl loss to the Ravens.

In a 14-year career, Moss has 982 catches for 15,292 yards and 156 touchdowns. Moss ranks ninth in receptions, third in yards, and second in touchdowns amongst wide receivers all-time
