Keyshia Cole is admitting she cried during the making of her upcoming album she has already described as "sorta" man bashing.
The 32-year-old R&B diva and NBA husband Daniel Gibson are known to be separated and perhaps even headed for divorce court, as both have been seen in recent months out and about town with other people.
"U know I cried for a lot of this album," Cole tweeted earlier this week, adding that to the earlier post "this album is gonna be one of the most heartfelt albums of my career."
So far, Cole has released two singles from the track, both of them thought to be directly born of her struggles with the 28-year-old Gibson. The uptempo Rick James features a video where Cole and her friends storm a home to confront a cheating lover and the melodic Next Time ( Won't Give My Heart Away) seems about finding oneself's after lost love.
Daniel Gibson, Keyshia Cole headed for divorce court?
Cole and Gibson were married three years ago in a lavish ceremony that at least partly aired on their then B.E.T. reality tv show Family First. The couple has a three-year-old son together, whom Cole recently told reporters they are now "co-parenting."
