Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET, the Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings faceoff for Game 4 of their best-of-seven Stanley Cup Playoffs series live from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. The game can be live streamed for free here. Boston fans can hear all of the action on WBZ 1030 while Detroit fans can do the same on 97.1 The Ticket.
Boston looks to win this game and take a 3-1 series lead back home while Detroit seeks to avenge a loss in their first home game of the series and even things up before they head back on the road. The Red Wings took Game 1 in a 1-0 final while the Bruins roared back in Games 2 and 3 with 4-1 and 3-0 wins respectively.
The Red Wings may have captain Henrik Zetterberg (back) in the lineup after he's missed the last 30 games, but he will be a game-time decision. If he does play -- even on limited minutes -- the team will hope he can help boost their offensive woes as through three games they have just two goals compared to the Bruins seven.
"We've been a way better team than that, that's unacceptable," coach Mike Babcock said after Game 3 via NHL.com. "And that's not taking anything away from the Bruins. I thought we looked like kids, for sure."
Despite the edge in scoring and in the series thus far, the Bruins aren't ready to sit back.
"It hasn't been easy, let's not kid ourselves," coach Claude Julien told NHL.com. "We've been fortunate enough in the last two games to get leads. We're not going to talk about a comfortable situation because until you win that fourth game, it never is."
The Bruins best player has been Tuukka Rask, who has an NHL-best 0.63 goals-against average in the playoffs thus far. He's allowed two goals while setting aside 82 shots. Jimmy Howard, who had a Game 1 shutout, will counter and has yielded six goals on 87 shots.
Pavel Datsyuk (game-winner in Game 1) and Luke Glendening are the only two Detroit players with goals and round out a list that includes Johan Franzen, Drew Miller and Darren Helm (one assist each) as the only players on the team with points.
Patrice Bergeron has paced Boston with three points off of a goal and two assists while Reilly Smith has two points off of a tally and a helper and Torey Krug and Jarome Iginla each also have two points off of two assists apiece.
The Bruins try to take a commanding 3-1 series lead while the Red Wings try to nod things up when the puck drops on Game 4 of their best-of-seven Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 1 series tonight at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
