At age 52, Herschel Walker is enjoying retirement like anyone would, but only if anyone could fight MMA and other crazy activities that a man half his age wouldn’t attempt. Walker has recently said that he thinks he could play and play well in today’s NFL at his age, but in a much different role. Walker spoke with USA Today Sports about what he could and couldn’t do in todays rapidly changing NFL.

"I can play in the NFL today. I couldn't take every snap. But running backs nowadays don't play every down. Now they send in the choir section.

"Physically, I can still do it.”

Walker isn’t even thinking about a comeback, but spoke about his potential if he were to attempt to do the unthinkable and make his return. Jim Thorpe holds the record for oldest running back to appear in an NFL game when he played his last game for the Chicago Cardinals at the age of 40 in 1928.

Walker also spoke about the possibility of Donald Trump buying the Buffalo Bills and he sounded like he would endorse the Donald as a viable option. Walker played for Trump’s New Jersey Generals in the USFL in the 1980’s before joining the NFL.

"He would be a great owner, and a credible owner.”

"People can think what they want to think about Jerry Jones -- he's a terrible general manager, but he's a great owner. He has done a tremendous job in marketing his team to keep it relevant. I think that's the same thing Donald Trump would do with the Buffalo Bills.”

Walker says he still has it, but don’t expect him to put that Cowboy helmet on anytime soon.
