DeSean Jackson recently came face-to-face with hip-hop diva Rihanna and the newly minted Washington Redskins wideout couldn't resist making a play for the Diamonds crooner.

Back in his L.A. hometown and with rap pal The Game by his side, Jackson talked up the diminutive singer outside Hollywood's The Supperclub over the weekend, at one point even eliciting a wide, blushing smile from the 24-year-old Barbadian singer.

Did DeSean Jackson flash crip signs?

"You know what man, D-Jax, that's like my little brother man," Game told TMZ Sports. "I'm his wingman wherever he need it. If he need the assist, I'm Tim Hardaway."

It's been a busy and unpredictable offseason for the 28-year-old Jackson, who after six seasons in Philadelphia was waived by the only NFL team he had ever known amid reports he still had ties with some of the now Crenshaw gang members he grew up with.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Jackson eventually landed on his feet, signing a three-year, $24 million deal to join Robert Griffin III in the Redskins backfield. Over his first six seasons, 60 catches and over a 1,000 receiving yards per season. His best year came in 2013, when he caught 82 passes for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns.
