The Los Angeles Clippers ended the Indiana Pacers' five game winning streak with a 99-91 victory on Thursday. Chris Paul had a stellar performance to lead Los Angeles to their 42nd win of the regular season.

Paul led all scorers with 29 points, while distributing eight assists to his teammates. Paul benefited from the absence of Indiana center Roy Hibbert, who was suspended for his role in an on-court altercation with Warriors big-man David Lee.

Blake Griffin also capitalized on the absence of Indiana's center, grabbing 14 rebounds and recording 18 points of his own. The Clippers cruised. improving their road record to 19-12 for the regular season.

The Pacers (36-22) lose their first game since returning from the All Star break and just their sixth at home for the entire season. Despite the loss, Indiana still holds the second best record in the Eastern conference and currently trails Miami by 6.5 games for the number one seed.
