TNA Impact Wrestling news and rumors: TNA Sacrifice PPV preview, Impact ratings killed by NBA Playoffs?

TNA Impact Wrestling's quarter-hour ratings from last Thursday's episode of Impact were especially dreadful, and with TNA going up against the NBA Playoffs for the foreseeable future, the TV ratings could sink to even worse lows for Dixie Carter and company.

The TNA quarter-hour ratings breakdown is below for Thursday 4/17/14:

Q1: Impact opened with a 1.00 rating for the Eric Young / Dixie Carter promo, this was the highest rating for the entire night and it's never a good sign when the opening segment can't hold viewers.

Q2: Decrease to 0.86 rating for Madison Rayne vs. Velvet Sky, Eric Young and Abyss backstage and one commercial.

Q3: Decrease to 0.84 rating for EC3 and Rockstar Spud backstage, Austin Aries' in-ring promo against MVP and one commercial.

Q4: Decrease to 0.81 rating for The Bro Mans vs. The Wolves for the TNA Tag Team Titles, Jeff Hardy/Willow backstage and one commercial.

Q5: Increase back up to 0.86 rating for Willow vs. Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud in their handicap match, Kurt Angle's TNA return promo and two commercials.

Q6: Decrease to 0.84 rating for Kenny King, X Division Title series match and and one commercial.

Q7: Slight decrease to 0.83 rating for Bobby Roode vs. Gunner in a tables match, Eric Young backstage, one commercial, and Bully Ray's pep talk to Gunner backstage.

Q8: Slight increase to 0.84 rating for the main event of Eric Young vs. Abyss in a Monster’s Ball match for the TNA World Title and one commercial.
