Bronco-gate is starting to pick up steam as the NFL will look into a situation in which Denver quarterback Peyton Manning and offensive coordinator Adam Gase visited Alabama to speak to coach Nick Saban.

The visit would be in violation of the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement that prevents players from visits from coaches before their offseason workouts begin. Saban, however, spoke earlier in the week to clarify that Manning and Gase did not meet with him at the same time. Saban told the Denver Post that he never said that all of the people involved had a sit down at the same time, but rather he met with Manning and Gase at separate times to avoid such violations.

The incident is still under investigation by the league, but if Saban’s clarification holds any weight, the Broncos have nothing to worry about. Saban called the meetings a “mutually beneficial” experience for all parties. Saban’s official statement about the two Broncos being in the same room while at Alabama was as follows:

"Peyton had called and said he wanted to drop by," Saban said. "Adam had already been around for a couple days when Peyton showed up. It was kind of a coincidence that they were around at the same time. I don't know if they left together but I know they didn't arrive here together.

"I was asked about their visit at my coach's clinic press conference but I never said we sat down together. Because we didn’t."

Look for the NFL to have a visit to Alabama as well to talk to coach Saban.
