Chicago looks to even the series up before going home to Illinois for Game 3 while St. Louis hopes to take advantage of home ice and take a 2-0 lead with them on the road. The Blues notched a Game 1 victory by a 4-3 margin in a triple overtime thriller.

The Blues trailed with just two minutes left in the third period but were able to tie the game on a Jaden Schwartz goal to force overtime and the team eventually was lifted by Alexander Steen, who found the twine in triple overtime. Goaltender Ryan Miller kept the team in the game as it searched for the equalizer in the third then the eventual game-winner.

"We were good early, and then they gave us a real push, went up 3-2, caught us kind of napping defensively and then they had a big start to the third period," coach Ken Hitchcock told NHL.com of Game 1."That's where we needed Ryan. First four minutes of the third period, they were all over us and then we started to really play after that."

Miller made 39 saves Thursday and allowed three goals while his counterpart Corey Crawford turned aside 48 shots and yielded four goals, including the triple overtime winner.

The Blackhawks know that the Blues will be going all-out in order to bring a 2-0 lead when the series shifts to Chicago.

We know they're going to make a push, they're going to keep coming at us," Patrick Sharp said via NHL.com.

Chicago received goals from Johnny Oduya, Brent Seabrook and Patrick Kane in the loss on Thursday. Aside from Schwartz's equalizer and Steen's triple overtime heroics, Adam Cracknell and Vladimir Tarasenko lit the lamp for St. Louis in Game 2.

The Blackhawks look to nod up the series while the Blues hope to take a commanding lead when the puck drops on Game 2 of their best-of-seven Stanley Cup playoff series live from the Scottrade Center today in St. Louis.
