On Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast this week, the prospect of a Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar match in WWE was proposed by Lesnar's current WWE manager Paul Heyman. While Stone Cold hasn't wrestled in years due to the numerous injuries he suffered while at the top of the WWE card, Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar sounded good enough to The Rattlesnake to not say no to Heyman's challenge. Instead, Austin said he'd hit the pause button and discuss the idea with Heyman privately.

With Brock Lesnar coming off the heels of breaking THE STREAK at WrestleMania XXX, people have been up in arms about Lesnar beating The Undertaker on the biggest stage of them all. The complaints have ranged from "Brock Lesnar is a part-timer" to "the Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker match wasn't good enough" to "how dare WWE end THE STREAK at all?"

That being said, a Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar match at anytime in WWE would be a real special attraction and a huge moneymaker for everyone involved.

Divas Champion Paige to defend title, did AJ Lee leave WWE for good?

The last time Austin was rumored to go up against someone as high profile as Brock Lesnar, the rumors surrounded around the idea of a CM Punk vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin match at WrestleMania. Of course, CM Punk is now on leave from WWE along with his fiancée AJ Lee, so the idea of one more Austin match vs. Brock Lesnar is exciting to think about.

Do I think Austin vs. Lesnar will ever actually happen? Probably not, but if they ever came to terms on a match and then came to blows in the ring, I'd have only one appropriate response to give:

"OH HELL YEAH!"
