With the Aldon Smith controversy in its infancy and the numerous extra picks the 49ers have stockpiled, look for San Francisco to be the team to make a major splash in the draft.

The 49ers are between a rock and hard place when it comes to Smith. On one hand he is a fantastic young player who is incredibly productive, but he is an off the field liability that has gotten into trouble constantly. The 49ers have hinted that they won’t have enough information on Smith's situation to justify picking up his team option come May, so it's time to start looking for a replacement.

Anthony Barr and Khalil Mack make the most sense for San Francisco, but can they move into the top 10 to snag them?

The 49ers are stacked for the upcoming draft. They have a first round pick, followed by two second round picks and two third round picks. Thats enough ammo to do some serious trade talks with the right teams. Who would be interested in picking up an extra second and third rounder, but at the cost of taking a huge drop to the No. 30 pick?

Oakland Raiders: The Raiders are desperate to move back in the draft because of their interest in Derek Carr, but would No. 30 be too steep? The Raiders could settle with another quarterback they love at No. 30 and use the extra picks they obtain to get some much needed depth in other areas. The Raiders would have to sacrifice quality for quantity in this situation.

St. Louis Rams: The Rams have two picks in the first 15 so dealing one of them is very likely. Depending on the asking price, the 49ers could be interested in either. If the 49ers prefer Mack they would need the No. 2 pick and have to pay an incredible price to move up those 28 spots. If the 49ers want to gamble on Barr’s availability they can grab the No. 13.

Tennessee Titans: This spot makes the most sense for both sides. The Titans would love to get their third round pick back from the 49ers and they have no glaring need for the No. 11 pick. The 49ers can grab Barr at that position and the Titans can get more picks to play with and use toward their new 3-4 defense. The Titans are an odd team that could benefit more from having three quality players over one top 10 caliber player.
