Two clubs chasing Coupe de France glory will do battle today in a cup match between Guingamp and AS Monaco. The semifinal scheduled for 3 p.m. ET will be held at the Stade du Roudourou in Guingamp and can be live streamed here free.
Facing a relegation threatened Guingamp, the pressure heaped on AS Monaco has intensified ahead of today's Coupe de France clash. That, however, is something manager Claudio Ranieri welcomes with open arms (h/t to Soccerway). "I'm sure Guingamp will play with freedom," Ranieri said. "The pressure is on Monaco. They [Guingamp] have good, powerful players.Winning a title would be important. I want to see the desire to win in my players and to please the fans," he added.
Guingamp were promoted to the first division last season—along with Nantes and AS Monaco—but are yet to experience the same success of their counterparts. The club is only five points from safety entering Week 34. Will they be able to punch above their weight against a favored Monaco side?
