On Sunday 4/27/14, TNA Impact Wrestling presents TNA Sacrifice, which will air live from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The latest TNA Impact spoilers and rumors for the PPV have been announced, so let's run through the updated card and match listings.
As reported by PWTorch.com, the current TNA Sacrifice PPV card is as follows:
--Bully Ray vs. Bobby Roode in a Tables Match
--James Storm vs. Gunner in an I Quit Match
--Madison Rayne (champion) vs. Angelina Love in a TNA Knockouts Championship Match
While TNA Impact has a little bit more time to flesh out this card, I do like that all three of these matches are based on grudge feuds that have been heavily hammered home on recent Impact Wrestling TV episodes.
Jeff Hardy's bizarre Willow character in TNA to stay?
Bully Ray and Bobby Roode have been beating the hell out of each other at every turn, and tables have been involved in many of their promos and physical encounters over the past few weeks. I especially loved seeing Bully Ray getting put through a table at Dixie Carter's "office" in Nashville, where, of course, Bobby Roode was waiting for him to bait him in.
The James Storm vs. Gunner feud has also become extremely personal. Storm cost Gunner the TNA Title in a match against then-champion Magnus a few weeks back, all because Storm was jealous of Gunner and didn't want to take a backseat to his former tag partner who bested him for the Feast or Fired briefcase that contained a TNA Title shot. When Storm later cut a promo on Gunner's dad in the crowd and then handcuffed Gunner to the ropes to beat him down in front of his dad, it made sense for this feud to culminate at TNA Sacrifice.
For Madison Rayne vs. Angelina Love, there is certainly no love lost. Angelina has reformed The Beautiful People with Velvet Sky, and they have already attacked the TNA Knockouts champion on a couple of occasions. When Angelina became the #1 Contender for Madison's title, I'm sure that Ms. Rayne was more than happy so that she can get her hands on Anglina one more time in the ring.
We'll see how the rest of the TNA Sacrifice card gets filled up, including with TNA Champion Eric Young, Jeff Hardy as Willow, and more.
So far, so good.
